Conference Bursaries
The Australian Society of Agronomy offers bursaries to support students to attend the bi-annual Australian Agronomy Conference. These bursaries are awarded on a competitive basis and are only available to Australian citizens undertaking postgraduate studies at an international University or postgraduate students studying in Australia. For the 2010 Australian Agronomy Conference, awards of up to $A1,000 will be made.
Bursaries are only awarded to applicants that attend the conference and the recipients are expected to present a paper (oral or poster) at the conference. Remuneration is provided at or after the conference upon the presentation of receipts for travel or registration.
To apply for the bursary please complete the application form and provide a current CV.
Applications close at 5 pm EST on 30 June 2010.

- Provide evidence of your University enrolment
- Submit completed applications electronically to richard.simpson@csiro.au
Conditions and assessment
- Priority will be given to applicants who are submitting a paper (oral or poster) to the conference. Abstracts are submitted via the Author Gateway.
- Students must provide evidence of their current enrolment.
- Applicants will be assessed by a sub-committee of the Australian Society of Agronomy whose decision will be final.
- Electronic applications must be received by the due date. No late applications will be considered.
