Call for Abstracts
Delegates to the 14th Australian Society of Agronomy Conference are invited to submit abstracts for consideration for presentation as oral or poster papers in the following themes:
- Emerging opportunities for agriculture
- Australian agronomy abroad
- Biotechnology: paddock reality
- Agronomy in the landscape
- Farmer focussed research
- Farming in an uncertain climate
- Integrated crop-livestock systems
Update : The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to 29 February 2008.

Important information
- Abstracts should be no more than 250 words
- Authors are limited to two papers for presentation.
- All papers will be reviewed by at least one referee and the revision managed through the website.
- Papers will be published on the website and distributed to registrants at the meeting on a CD.
- For papers to be published an author must have registered and the paper presented at the meeting.
Those preparing posters are invited to consider the following guidelines:
- Posters should be prepared to standard AO size - 841mm wide x 1189mm deep.
- Posters will be mounted onto black, Velcro compatible display boards - one poster per board
- We recommend you affix male Velcro to your posters, in readiness for mounting.
- Poster presenters should report to the conference registration desk on Sunday afternoon (21 September), where they will be advised of their poster location (we would like to have as many posters up on Sunday as possible, as the welcome function will be held around the poster displays)
